About the role

Ridgeline Software is building a real‑time analytics backbone for its operations teams. As a Senior iOS App Developer you will craft the mobile front‑end for the new "PulseStream" module, enabling field engineers to visualize pipeline health and trigger corrective actions directly from their devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the PulseStream iOS UI using SwiftUI, adhering to Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Integrate with Ridgeline's Kafka‑based data pipeline via gRPC and REST endpoints to stream operational metrics.
• Implement offline caching with Core Data and ensure seamless sync when connectivity resumes.
• Set up automated UI tests in Xcode using XCTest and Fastlane for continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define API contracts and monitor performance with Instruments.
• Deliver a production‑ready build within 8‑week sprint cycles, meeting defined KPI dashboards.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS 14+.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and JSON parsing.
• Proficiency in Core Data, Combine, and background task management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
• Ability to write unit and UI tests with XCTest.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
• Experience building analytics dashboards on mobile.
