About the role

NovaForge Tech is revamping a legacy iOS production platform to achieve zero‑downtime releases. We need a seasoned iOS App Developer to lead the migration, refactor core modules, and implement modern architectural patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing codebase and identify components for refactor
• Introduce SwiftUI and Combine where appropriate while preserving legacy UI
• Design and integrate robust REST API clients with retry and caching logic
• Implement feature flags and blue‑green deployment strategies for zero‑downtime updates
• Write unit and UI tests to maintain high reliability during rollout
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts and performance goals

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of native iOS development
• Deep expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs and offline data handling
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines for iOS apps

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy Objective‑C migration
• Familiarity with App Store Connect automation
• Knowledge of performance profiling tools (Instruments)
