About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is revitalizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need an iOS App Developer to redesign critical client‑facing modules while guaranteeing zero‑downtime during rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing Swift codebase to adopt modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Combine).
• Implement feature toggles and blue‑green deployment pipelines for seamless updates.
• Integrate with legacy REST APIs and introduce efficient caching strategies.
• Write comprehensive unit and UI tests to maintain stability under continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with DevOps to monitor performance and resolve latency spikes in real time.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of iOS development with Swift.
• Deep experience with REST API consumption and error handling.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (XCTest, UIAutomation).
• Strong understanding of zero‑downtime deployment techniques.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SwiftUI and Combine.
• Experience in legacy system migration projects.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Fastlane or Bitrise.
