About the role

SwiftTask Agency is launching a data‑intensive platform that requires a seasoned PostgreSQL Administrator. You will ensure high availability, performance tuning, and secure data management for critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL clusters and replication
• Perform performance diagnostics, indexing, and query optimization
• Develop backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Monitor database health and automate routine maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with developers to integrate database solutions into application pipelines

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Strong SQL scripting and query optimization expertise
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and automation tools
• Knowledge of security best practices, roles, and encryption

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL migrations
• Experience with containerization (Docker) or orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Certification in PostgreSQL or related technologies
