Senior Terraform Engineer for Kubernetes Deployment

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and validate infrastructure as code that meets strict security baselines across multiple AWS accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Write reusable Terraform modules to enforce encryption, least‑privilege IAM, and network segmentation
• Integrate security scans (e.g., tfsec, Checkov) into CI/CD pipelines and remediate findings
• Collaborate with security and ops teams to translate compliance controls into IaC policies
• Document module usage, versioning strategy, and audit trails for governance
• Conduct peer reviews and provide mentorship on Terraform best practices

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building secure AWS environments with Terraform
• Strong understanding of IAM, VPC, KMS, and security groups
• Hands‑on CI/CD implementation using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code and documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS Security Hub or GuardDuty
• Experience with policy‑as‑code frameworks (OPA, Sentinel)
