Senior Terraform Engineer Needed for Container Platform Build

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and audit infrastructure as code that meets strict security standards across multiple AWS accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reusable Terraform modules that enforce encryption, least‑privilege IAM, and network segmentation
• Integrate Terraform pipelines into existing CI/CD workflows for automated compliance checks
• Collaborate with security and operations teams to translate hardening guidelines into code
• Perform code reviews and static analysis to catch misconfigurations early
• Document architecture decisions and maintain version‑controlled security baselines

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Terraform experience in AWS environments
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices (CIS, NIST)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Strong scripting ability for automation and validation

Nice to have

• Experience with Sentinel or OPA policy frameworks
• Knowledge of container orchestration security (EKS, ECS)
• Certifications such as AWS Security or Certified Terraform Associate
