About the role

Harbor Softworks is preparing a synchronized mobile and backend launch for its upcoming app store release. We need a Terraform Engineer to shape the infrastructure that powers both the mobile APIs and backend services, ensuring they scale together and stay secure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain Terraform modules for multi‑region AWS environments supporting mobile API gateways.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that automatically validate and apply infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with mobile and backend teams to align resource provisioning with feature roll‑outs.
• Monitor cost and performance, tweaking Terraform configurations for optimal efficiency.
• Document infrastructure patterns and hand‑off guides for future teams.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience writing production‑grade Terraform code.
• Strong understanding of AWS services (ECS, RDS, API Gateway, IAM).
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation using tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Ability to troubleshoot IaC issues quickly in a fast‑moving release cycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile backend patterns (GraphQL, REST).
• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, Docker).
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile data pipelines.
