Vue.js Frontend Developer for Design System Implementation Overhaul

About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a brand‑new SaaS product from scratch. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to shape the user experience, create reusable UI components, and ensure performance at scale. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams in a fully remote, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop the core Vue.js application using Vue 3 and Composition API
• Implement responsive, accessible UI components with Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, handling state management with Pinia or Vuex
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests to maintain code quality
• Collaborate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred)
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience building scalable SPAs for SaaS products
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and CI/CD workflows

Nice to have

• Background in greenfield product launches
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques
• Experience with server‑side rendering (Nuxt) or micro‑frontend architectures
