Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents from Spanish to English and vice versa, ensuring high-quality and accuracy.
• Review and edit translations to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Collaborate with our team of translators, editors, and project managers to deliver high-quality translations.
• Use computer-assisted translation tools, such as memoQ, Trados, or Wordfast, to manage translations and terminology.
• Research and stay up-to-date with industry-specific terminology and trends.
• Meet deadlines and deliver translations on time, while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure translations meet our quality standards.
• Develop and maintain glossaries and terminology databases to ensure consistency in translations.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new translation processes and procedures.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving our translation processes and quality.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as needed, such as proofreading, editing, and research.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in translation.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Spanish and strong proficiency in English.
• At least 3 years of experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of translation principles, including accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in computer-assisted translation tools, such as memoQ, Trados, or Wordfast.
