Key Responsibilities

• Translate content from one language to another, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and engagement.
• Collaborate with our team of translators, editors, and project managers to ensure that all translations meet our quality standards.
• Assist with translating marketing materials, website content, social media, and blog posts.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies that can enhance our translation services.
• Provide feedback on translation quality and suggest ways to improve our translation processes.
• Work closely with our project managers to meet deadlines, adhere to budgets, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to discussions, and share ideas on how to improve our translation services.
• Develop and maintain your translation skills, staying current with language developments and industry standards.
• Collaborate with our quality assurance team to ensure that all translations meet our quality standards.
• Assist with proofreading and editing translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Contribute to the development of our translation style guide and terminology database.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to our company's confidentiality and non-disclosure policies, protecting client confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Native fluency in the target language and near-native fluency in the source language.
• Strong foundation in translation principles, including terminology, syntax, and cultural nuances.
• Experience with translation software, tools, and technologies, such as CAT tools and terminology management systems.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp.
• Certificate in translation or a related field, such as linguistics, language studies, or communications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in translation, language teaching, or a related field.
