About the role

Pinecrest Systems is enhancing its release pipeline with automated security testing. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and integrate test automation that lowers regression risk before each launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts to scan code and configurations for vulnerabilities during CI runs
• Configure Linux‑based test environments and maintain security tooling
• Collaborate with developers to embed security checks into automated test suites
• Analyze false positives and refine rules to improve signal quality
• Document findings and provide actionable remediation guidance

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of security principles and threat modeling
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Hands‑on experience with Linux systems and security tooling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience in vulnerability management frameworks
• Knowledge of container security best practices
