Key Responsibilities
- Format and prepare documents, including reports, proposals, and presentations, to the highest standards
- Work with other document preparation specialists to ensure consistency and quality in all documents
- Use Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to format and prepare documents
- Collaborate with clients to understand their document preparation needs and preferences
- Develop and implement style guides and formatting standards for documents
- Conduct quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure that documents meet their needs and expectations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in document preparation software and technologies
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of document preparation processes and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams, including sales and marketing, to ensure that documents are aligned with company goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company products and services
- Assist with other document preparation tasks, as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as English, communications, or business
- At least 2 years of experience in document preparation, preferably in a professional services environment
- Excellent formatting skills, with attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to resolve formatting issues and improve document quality
- Experience with document management software and technologies, such as SharePoint or Documentum
- Certification in document preparation or a related field, such as Certified Document Technician (CDT)
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
