Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform various bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and review accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices, credit memos, and debit memos
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis
- Develop and maintain financial spreadsheets and databases, including Excel and QuickBooks
- Provide financial support and guidance to other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting principles and regulations, and implement new procedures and policies as necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Perform other financial and administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including financial statements, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Proficient in financial software, including QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
