About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is driving a sprint to tighten CI/CD pipelines and automate platform releases. We need a GraphQL API Developer who can embed robust GraphQL services into our existing Node.js stack while ensuring seamless integration with our automated deployment workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement GraphQL schemas that support rapid feature toggles.
• Integrate GraphQL endpoints with existing REST APIs for backward compatibility.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed schema validation into CI pipelines.
• Write unit and integration tests for resolvers and data fetchers.
• Document API contracts and versioning strategy.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs in NodeJS.
• Proficiency with React for client‑side query handling.
• Solid understanding of REST API principles and integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for local testing environments.
• Knowledge of automated schema linting tools.
