Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement game features and mechanics using Unity, ensuring they are engaging, stable, and optimized for various platforms.
• Collaborate with the art team to integrate assets, animations, and visual effects into the game, maintaining a high level of visual quality and consistency.
• Work closely with the design team to understand and implement game design documents, ensuring that the game's vision and intent are preserved in the development process.
• Develop and maintain efficient, well-structured, and readable code, adhering to the team's coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and being open to feedback to improve overall code quality and team knowledge.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, using debugging tools and methodologies to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Contribute to the development of tools and systems that support the game development process, automating tasks where possible to improve productivity.
• Stay updated with the latest Unity features, best practices, and community developments, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our game and development processes.
• Collaborate with QA to identify, reproduce, and fix bugs, ensuring the game meets the required quality standards before release.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling, providing input based on your expertise to help manage project timelines and resources effectively.
• Document your work, including code comments, technical notes, and development logs, to facilitate knowledge sharing and simplify future maintenance and updates.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Unity's ecosystem, including Unity Editor, Unity Hub, and Unity Cloud Services.
