About the role

Ridgeline Software is enhancing its operations teams with a robust data pipeline and analytics enablement platform. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and optimize backend services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable micro‑service APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Design data ingestion flows and real‑time processing pipelines
• Integrate with Kafka, Flink, or similar streaming technologies
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data reliability
• Collaborate with data analysts and ops engineers to refine data models

Must-have skills

• Strong Java programming experience
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful services
• Hands‑on experience building microservices architectures

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
• Experience with cloud data services (AWS Kinesis, GCP Pub/Sub)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization
