About the role

TechFlow Inc is building a unified IoT platform to streamline its billing, CRM, and internal services. As the IoT Solutions Architect you will lead the design and delivery of the "PulseBridge" integration module that securely connects device data streams with enterprise back‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end data flow from edge devices to the billing engine using MQTT and REST.
• Design and implement secure API gateways in Kong to expose CRM endpoints.
• Develop Terraform scripts for provisioning VPCs, subnets, and VPN tunnels across AWS and Azure.
• Create CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI for automated testing of integration scripts.
• Conduct performance testing with JMeter to meet latency targets under 200 ms.
• Document architecture diagrams and runbooks in Confluence for knowledge transfer.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and device management.
• Strong background in API design, OAuth2, and micro‑service orchestration.
• Proficiency with Linux server administration and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced scripting in Python and JavaScript for data transformation.
• Experience with network security, VPNs, and firewall policies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure IoT Hub and AWS IoT Core.
• Knowledge of Grafana/Prometheus monitoring stacks.
