About the role

DataPro Services is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted IoT applications. As an IoT Solutions Architect you will lead the design and implementation of robust security controls for the new SecureIoT Shield module, ensuring data integrity and compliance across edge devices and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end security for the SecureIoT Shield, integrating TLS, mutual authentication, and device attestation.
• Configure and harden AWS IoT Core and Azure IoT Hub environments, applying least‑privilege IAM policies.
• Develop automated compliance scans using OpenSCAP and integrate results into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead threat modeling workshops and produce mitigation roadmaps for identified risks.
• Implement secure OTA update mechanisms and verify firmware signatures.
• Document security standards and provide knowledge transfer to the DevOps team.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in IoT security frameworks and protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LwM2M).
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and network segmentation.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for scripting security automation.
• Strong Linux systems administration background.
• Hands‑on with REST API security design and implementation.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with container orchestration security (Kubernetes).
