Node.js Developer Needed for Legacy System Migration Delivery

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Node.js Developer who can reinforce our backend services against emerging threats while keeping performance intact. You will work closely with our security and DevOps teams to embed best‑practice controls into existing APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and refactor Node.js services to address OWASP Top 10 risks
• Implement input validation, rate limiting, and secure authentication flows
• Integrate automated security testing into CI pipelines
• Document hardening guidelines and share knowledge with the engineering group
• Monitor production logs for suspicious activity and respond promptly

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep understanding of JavaScript security patterns
• Design and consume REST API services
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code and unit tests

Nice to have

• Experience with container security tools
• Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Previous work on security hardening projects
