About the role

Cascade Apps is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight alignment between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the server side that will power real‑time features and data sync for the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable REST APIs using Django
• Integrate with mobile SDKs to enable seamless data exchange
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for high‑throughput workloads
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality through CI pipelines
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to troubleshoot integration issues

Must-have skills

• Strong Python proficiency and Django experience
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design
• Hands‑on work with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile workflows

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery)
• Prior work on mobile‑backend synchronization
