About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a meticulous QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that validate security controls, data integrity, and performance under threat scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans focused on authentication, encryption, and access‑control mechanisms.
• Automate regression suites using Selenium and integrate them into CI pipelines.
• Perform penetration‑testing style functional checks and report findings.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to remediate vulnerabilities and re‑test.
• Document test results, create defect tickets, and track resolution.

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of QA testing for cloud applications.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of security testing principles.
• Experience writing clear, concise test cases and defect reports.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python or Bash).
