About the role

Cascade Apps is extending a B2B SaaS product with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the underlying cloud architecture, ensuring isolation, scalability, and cost‑efficiency for each tenant.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision multi‑tenant AWS environments using VPC, IAM, and Security Groups.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments via ECS or EKS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that support isolated tenant builds and rollbacks.
• Monitor performance, set up alerts, and fine‑tune resources for cost‑effective scaling.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to translate feature requirements into cloud‑native solutions.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years designing and managing AWS infrastructures for SaaS applications.
• Deep experience with Docker, ECS/EKS, and Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong Linux system administration and networking knowledge.
• Proven DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi‑tenant data isolation patterns.
• Familiarity with serverless services such as Lambda.
• Knowledge of cost‑optimization tools like AWS Compute Optimizer.
