About the role

Silverline Labs is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune cloud infrastructure that can handle peak loads with minimal latency.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current AWS architecture and identify bottlenecks.
• Re‑architect services using serverless, auto‑scaling groups, and managed databases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue detection.
• Collaborate with developers to embed performance best practices.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with automated deployment workflows.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Experience with cost‑optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus or Datadog.
