About the role
Northbay Systems is launching a new product line and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to uplift test automation. The focus is on reducing regression risk before each release by integrating robust automated testing into the pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Design and extend CI/CD workflows to embed end‑to‑end test suites
- Implement automated test orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Configure AWS resources for scalable test environments
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test coverage criteria
- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot flaky tests
Must-have skills
- Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Proficiency with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Hands‑on AWS infrastructure knowledge (ECS, CodePipeline, CloudWatch)
- Deep understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices
- Ability to write reusable pipeline scripts (Groovy, YAML, Bash)
Nice to have
- Experience with performance or security testing integration
- Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC
- Background in microservices architecture
