About the role

We are seeking a senior Data Engineer to design and implement robust data pipelines for a fast‑growing e‑commerce analytics platform. The project focuses on consolidating sales, inventory, and customer interaction data into a unified warehouse for real‑time reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable ETL processes using Python and Airflow.
• Integrate data from PostgreSQL, MySQL, and third‑party APIs into AWS Redshift.
• Optimize data models for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring dashboards.
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to refine data requirements.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python programming for data manipulation.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Proficiency in AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda).
• Hands‑on experience building ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and schema design.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) for pipeline deployment.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
