About the role

CoreData Systems is seeking a senior Data Scientist to lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics models for a high‑impact, short‑term project. You will translate business questions into data‑driven solutions, ensuring robust model performance and clear insights for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and fine‑tune predictive models using machine learning techniques.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering on large datasets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production pipelines.
• Validate model accuracy and monitor performance over time.
• Document methodologies, results, and recommendations for non‑technical audiences.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and modeling.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of JavaScript for data visualization integration.
• Understanding of REST API design to expose model endpoints.
• Proven track record delivering senior‑level data science projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
