About the role

DataPro Services is enhancing a B2B SaaS product with a new multi‑tenant capability. We need a Database Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune the underlying data layer, ensuring isolation, security, and performance across tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Architect schema changes to support tenant isolation while preserving existing functionality
• Configure and manage PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL clusters for high availability
• Implement automated backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Monitor performance metrics and apply indexing, partitioning, or sharding as needed
• Collaborate with developers to embed data‑access patterns into the application code

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production
• Deep knowledge of multi‑tenant database design and security best practices
• Experience with automated provisioning tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Strong SQL scripting and query‑optimization expertise

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud‑native database services (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
