About the role

Vertex Analytics is preparing a high‑impact app store launch that requires tight coordination between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a DevOps Engineer to streamline CI/CD pipelines, ensure infrastructure parity, and automate release workflows for this critical rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for iOS/Android builds and backend deployments.
• Synchronize environment configurations across cloud and mobile testing labs.
• Automate container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable API services.
• Monitor performance and reliability metrics during pre‑release testing.
• Collaborate with mobile and backend teams to resolve integration bottlenecks.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Solid scripting knowledge (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Understanding of mobile build processes and backend API deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with mobile analytics and crash reporting integrations.
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile‑backend communication.
