About the role
BrightMart Solutions is modernizing its e‑commerce platform and needs a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead a test‑automation uplift aimed at slashing regression risk before each release. You will embed security checks into the CI pipeline and ensure automated validation of new features across our micro‑service ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement a Selenium‑based regression suite for the "CartGuard" module, targeting 80% coverage within 4 weeks.
- Integrate OWASP ZAP scans into GitHub Actions to automatically flag security regressions on pull requests.
- Containerize test environments using Docker Compose and orchestrate them on AWS ECS for on‑demand scaling.
- Collaborate with QA leads to define test data strategies and mock services for end‑to‑end flows.
- Establish threshold alerts in CloudWatch for test failures and security findings, feeding them into Slack for rapid triage.
Must-have skills
- 5+ years in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline design, and security automation.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS, CloudWatch).
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress or similar UI test frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of OWASP top‑10, SAST/DAST tools, and secure code practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with Python or Go scripting for custom test utilities.
