About the role

DataPro Services is revamping its customer‑facing services for speed and reliability. We need a GraphQL API Developer to redesign the data layer, tighten latency, and ensure fault‑tolerant operations across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance GraphQL schemas that replace legacy endpoints
• Refactor existing NodeJS services to support batching, caching, and rate limiting
• Integrate GraphQL with existing REST APIs while preserving backward compatibility
• Write unit and integration tests, and set up CI pipelines for automated validation
• Monitor performance metrics and troubleshoot bottlenecks in production

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in GraphQL server development (Apollo, GraphQL‑JS)
• Strong command of React for client‑side query handling
• Proficiency with NodeJS and asynchronous programming patterns
• Experience building, securing, and scaling REST APIs

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for deployment
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Understanding of authentication flows (OAuth, JWT)
