About the role
NovaForge Tech is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need an iOS App Developer to redesign the client‑side experience, integrate modern APIs, and ensure zero‑downtime during rollout. You will work closely with backend engineers to align data contracts and with QA to validate seamless migrations.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor existing Swift codebase for iOS 17 compatibility
- Implement feature flags and hot‑swap mechanisms for uninterrupted updates
- Design and consume REST APIs with robust error handling
- Write unit and UI tests to guarantee stability under live traffic
- Collaborate with DevOps to automate build pipelines and release monitoring
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of native iOS development
- Deep expertise in Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI
- Proven experience with zero‑downtime deployment strategies
- Strong understanding of RESTful services and authentication flows
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift
- Experience in legacy code migration projects
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Fastlane or Bitrise
