About the role

CoreData Systems is launching an integration project that links billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Microservices Architect to design a scalable, event‑driven backbone that unifies data flow while keeping each service independent.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries for billing, CRM, and internal API layers
• Design and implement API contracts using OpenAPI specifications
• Build Docker images and orchestrate services with Kubernetes
• Set up asynchronous messaging (e.g., Kafka) for real‑time data sync
• Establish security standards, JWT handling, and rate limiting across services
• Create CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Document architecture diagrams and runbooks for future teams

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservice architectures
• Strong command of Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Deep knowledge of Java for service development
• Understanding of API gateway patterns and service discovery

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Background in CI/CD tooling like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
