About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching an intensive sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform provisioning. We need a Microservices Architect to design reusable services that accelerate releases while ensuring reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Define a microservice‑based architecture for automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• Create reusable Docker images and Helm charts for each service
• Integrate Kubernetes operators to manage environment lifecycles
• Establish versioned API contracts and service discovery mechanisms
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed security checks into the pipeline

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservice ecosystems for CI/CD automation
• Deep knowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong Java programming background
• Ability to write clear architecture documentation and diagrams

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GitOps and Argo CD
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
