About the role

Orbit Labs is launching an intensive sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a Microservices Architect to design, implement, and fine‑tune the deployment pipeline for our containerized services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows for microservice ecosystems
• Define Docker image standards and Kubernetes deployment patterns
• Automate environment provisioning and secret management
• Collaborate with developers to embed quality gates and testing
• Monitor pipeline performance and iterate for faster feedback loops

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes at scale
• Strong Java development background
• Hands‑on CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GitOps practices
• Familiarity with Helm charts and service mesh concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
