About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted microservices. We need a seasoned Microservices Architect to design resilient, zero‑trust patterns and guide the team through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current microservice landscape and identify security gaps
• Design authentication, authorization, and encryption strategies across services
• Define secure API gateways and service‑mesh policies
• Provide architecture diagrams and documentation for hardened flows
• Mentor developers on secure coding practices and container hardening
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures on AWS or Azure
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and service‑mesh technologies
• Strong Java background and secure coding expertise
• Hands‑on knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, and secret management

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with security scanning tools like Snyk or Trivy
• Certifications in cloud security or architectural frameworks
