About the role

DataPro Services is preparing a major app store launch and needs a Microservices Architect to align mobile front‑ends with backend services. You will design a scalable, containerized architecture that supports rapid feature rollout and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Define the microservice decomposition strategy for the new mobile app
• Design API contracts and data flow between services and mobile clients
• Set up Docker images and Kubernetes manifests for CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure security, observability, and fault tolerance across services
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to optimize latency and bandwidth usage

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservice ecosystems
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong Java development background
• Ability to produce clear architecture diagrams and documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (e.g., GraphQL, gRPC)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
