About the role

Pinnacle Works is launching a high‑performance data pipeline for a fintech client. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, optimize, and implement the database layer that will handle large transaction volumes with low latency.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable MongoDB schemas and indexing strategies
• Develop ETL processes and data aggregation pipelines
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and fine‑tune queries
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB with Node.js services
• Document data models and operational procedures

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of hands‑on MongoDB administration and development
• Strong knowledge of aggregation framework, sharding, and replication
• Experience with Node.js and JavaScript ecosystem
• Proficiency in data modeling for high‑throughput applications

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for containerized deployments
• Exposure to cloud‑hosted MongoDB services (Atlas, AWS)
