About the role

Keystone Digital is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a seasoned Node.js Developer to audit, patch, and reinforce our services against emerging threats while maintaining performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security reviews of existing Node.js codebases and dependencies.
• Implement input validation, output encoding, and rate‑limiting mechanisms.
• Integrate security middleware and configure CSP, CORS, and helmet settings.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Document hardening guidelines and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Node.js development in cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Express, JWT, OAuth2, and API security.
• Proficiency in automated testing and static analysis tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud provider security services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Previous work on security incident response.
