About the role

Ridgeline Software is orchestrating an integration project that links billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, tune, and maintain the data layer that powers seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement PostgreSQL schemas supporting billing and CRM sync
• Optimize queries and indexes for high‑volume API transactions
• Set up replication, backup, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Collaborate with developers to create secure data pipelines between PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL
• Monitor performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks proactively

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Deep knowledge of replication, partitioning, and tuning
• Experience integrating PostgreSQL with MongoDB and MySQL
• Strong SQL scripting and automation (Bash, Python)
• Understanding of security best practices for data at rest and in transit

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud‑hosted PostgreSQL (AWS RDS, Azure)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
• Certification in PostgreSQL or related technologies
