About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a sprint to accelerate releases via CI/CD and platform automation. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the automation pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Build robust Python services that integrate with CI/CD tools
• Design RESTful APIs for internal automation workflows
• Implement automated testing and deployment scripts
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for speed
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure seamless releases

Must-have skills

• Strong Python development experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Design and consume REST APIs
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL knowledge

Nice to have

• Docker and container orchestration familiarity
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar
