About the role

Silverline Labs is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. We need a seasoned REST API Developer to redesign core endpoints, improve latency, and ensure robust error handling across our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing APIs and identify bottlenecks
• Design and implement high‑throughput REST endpoints using NodeJS
• Optimize database queries and schema for PostgreSQL
• Introduce comprehensive logging, monitoring, and automated testing
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to validate performance targets

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building production‑grade REST APIs
• Deep expertise in NodeJS and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong command of PostgreSQL performance tuning
• Experience with load testing tools and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached)
• Background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
