Senior Terraform Engineer Needed for Mission-Critical Infrastructure Automation

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a greenfield SaaS product with a remote‑first culture. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and automate the core cloud infrastructure that will support rapid scaling and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and codify AWS environments using Terraform modules.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and updates.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate infrastructure as code into the product lifecycle.
• Implement security best practices, monitoring, and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Document architecture decisions and provide knowledge transfer to the ops team.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience writing production‑grade Terraform code for AWS.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues end‑to‑end.

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration (EKS, ECS).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
• Background in greenfield product launches.
