About the role

Pinecrest Systems is preparing a new app store release that tightly couples mobile front‑ends with backend services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, provision, and fine‑tune the cloud environment that will support rapid feature rollouts and high‑availability APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable AWS infrastructure for mobile‑backend integration
• Automate provisioning with IaC tools and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize cost
• Collaborate with mobile developers to align API contracts and security policies

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda)
• Containerization using Docker and orchestration basics
• Solid DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC, monitoring
• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile backend patterns (GraphQL, REST)
• Familiarity with serverless frameworks
• Knowledge of security best practices for API gateways
