Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparing budget reports and financial forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to our clients, including identifying areas for cost savings and improving financial performance
  • Develop and implement financial procedures and policies, including accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures
  • Collaborate with our team of accountants and financial advisors to provide comprehensive financial services to our clients
  • Assist with financial reporting, including preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including responding to queries and providing financial guidance and support
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as required, including financial planning and financial analysis
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives, including sales and marketing teams

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or a related field, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, including managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, including collaborating with other departments and stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
  • Certification in bookkeeping or a related field, including Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB)
