In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our applications are properly integrated with our cloud infrastructure, and you will collaborate with our operations team to ensure that our cloud resources are properly managed and optimized. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the development of our cloud strategy and to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, including AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC
• Collaborate with our development team to ensure that our applications are properly integrated with our cloud infrastructure
• Work with our operations team to ensure that our cloud resources are properly managed and optimized
• Participate in the development of our cloud strategy and contribute to the growth and success of our company
• Ensure the highest levels of availability, scalability, and security for our cloud infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues with our cloud infrastructure, and develop and implement solutions to resolve these issues
• Develop and maintain documentation for our cloud infrastructure, including architecture diagrams, technical notes, and operational guides
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is properly integrated with other systems and services
• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new cloud services and technologies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing and AWS, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure and services
• Collaborate with our security team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is properly secured and compliant with relevant regulations and standards
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability and resilience of our cloud infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other teams, and contribute to the development of our company's cloud capabilities

Requirements

• Strong background in AWS and cloud engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC, as well as other cloud services such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of cloud security, including security best practices, compliance, and risk management
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other teams and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, and experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and financial management, including cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including design patterns, principles, and best practices
• Experience with cloud migration and deployment, including planning, execution, and validation
• Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance, including data protection, access control, and auditing
