Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate user-generated content across multiple platforms to ensure adherence to community guidelines and brand voice.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our brand's tone, style, and voice to make informed decisions about content moderation.
- Collaborate with the content creation team to develop and implement content strategies that align with our brand goals and audience engagement objectives.
- Work closely with social media managers to monitor and respond to user comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and escalate potential issues or trends in user-generated content to the content moderation team lead or other relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our community guidelines and moderation policies.
- Analyze and report on content moderation metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve our content strategy and community engagement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform-specific content policies and guidelines, adapting our moderation strategies as needed.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and platform updates.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our target audience, including their preferences, behaviors, and expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in our content and messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our content moderation practices.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving our content moderation processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in content moderation, community management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital content, social media platforms, and online community dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in content management systems, social media scheduling tools, and analytics software.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately evaluate and moderate large volumes of content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and open communication.
- Familiarity with content moderation tools, platforms, and best practices, including machine learning-based moderation systems.
- Strong knowledge of online harassment, hate speech, and other forms of problematic content, with the ability to develop and implement effective moderation strategies.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to improve our content strategy and community engagement.
- Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and style, with the ability to develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across multiple platforms.
