About the role

Vertex Analytics is preparing an app store launch that tightly couples mobile UI with backend services. We need a focused Frontend React Developer to craft responsive components and ensure seamless data flow between the web front‑end and our APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable React UI modules for the upcoming app.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align data contracts and error handling.
• Optimize performance for mobile browsers and progressive web app scenarios.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain style consistency.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React (hooks, context, router).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time schedule.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile‑first design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for front‑end deployments.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
