About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a brand‑new greenfield SaaS product. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and implement the core data layer that will power our web client and future mobile apps.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build a scalable GraphQL server using NodeJS
• Integrate existing REST services into the GraphQL schema
• Collaborate with React front‑end engineers to define data contracts
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Document API endpoints and usage guidelines

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Strong NodeJS fundamentals and async programming
• Understanding of REST API patterns and how to wrap them
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote‑first team

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server or similar tooling
• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
