About the role

TechFlow Inc is revamping its flagship legacy platform to achieve zero‑downtime deployments. As a Node.js Developer you will lead the backend modernization of the PulseSync Engine, a critical data‑processing module that powers real‑time analytics for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a blue‑green deployment pipeline using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Migrate existing monolithic services to a micro‑services architecture with NestJS, targeting the PulseSync Engine.
• Refactor legacy callbacks into async/await patterns and integrate TypeScript for type safety.
• Build robust RESTful endpoints with Express, adding request validation via Joi and comprehensive unit tests with Jest.
• Set up CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions, including automated smoke tests for zero‑downtime verification.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to configure canary releases and monitor latency with Prometheus.

Must-have skills

• Strong Node.js experience (3+ years) with ES6+.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on with MongoDB schema design and aggregation pipelines.
• Expertise in building and securing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and automated testing frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
