Node.js Developer Needed for Legacy System Migration Program

About the role

NovaForge Tech is building a high‑throughput data pipeline to empower operations teams with real‑time analytics. We need a Node.js Developer to design, implement, and optimize services that ingest, transform, and expose data for downstream dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable Node.js micro‑services for data ingestion and processing
• Design RESTful APIs that deliver cleaned data to analytics tools
• Implement streaming solutions using queues or event buses
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with data engineers and ops to monitor performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient JavaScript coding and asynchronous patterns
• Design and consumption of REST APIs
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL concepts, and cloud services

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with PostgreSQL or NoSQL stores
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
